We collect your email address, password (hashed), starting balance, location (city/country), and any financial transactions you manually enter. We do not connect to your bank accounts or collect payment information.
Your data is used solely to power the MyFinAI features you use — dashboard, forecasting, goals, and AI research. We do not sell, share, or monetise your personal data.
When you use the AI Research Assistant, your query and relevant financial context (not your raw transactions) are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. Anthropic's data usage is governed by their privacy policy.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway (EU/US infrastructure). Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text.
We use a single authentication cookie (JWT) to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. To request a data export, email us at privacy@myfinai.app.
